Remove the background with AI: a person, animal or product is cut out automatically, even on a busy background. Touch up the edge with the eraser and download as a PNG with transparency or on a plain colour. The AI model runs in your own browser.

Automatic (AI) finds the subject by itself: a person, animal or product, even on a busy background. The AI model runs in your own browser; your photo goes nowhere. The first time, your browser downloads the model (18 MB); after that it stays on your device.
For ink or lines on plain paper, not for photos: the paper disappears and the ink keeps its soft edges and light strokes. If traces of the paper remain (uneven lighting), raise the tolerance.
For an image that is already transparent but has a light or dark fringe (cut out on a white or black background). The semi-transparent edge pixels get their own colour back without the white or black; then the edge, over the chosen width, takes on the colour of the inside. With 'Unknown' only the last step is done.
Eraser: drag in the preview over what still has to go. Restore: drag over what was removed too much; there the photo comes back as it was. With the mouse or a finger; the strokes belong to this photo and the brush size is a share of the longest side.
Each photo starts with the colour of its own top-left corner; pick another with the eyedropper. 'From the edge' only removes background that touches the edge, so a white shirt on a white background stays. Works best with a plain background; output as PNG.
