Open a file
Open AVIF files — free, in your browser
AVIF is a new image format that is smaller than JPG and WebP at the same quality. Websites use it more and more; older programs and upload forms do not know it yet.
With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .avif file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with AVIF files
You view the image straight away and zoom in smoothly.
Good to know
If the file has to go into a program that does not know AVIF, convert it to JPG or PNG.
