BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) is buildingSMART's open standard for exchanging comments on a building model: per issue a title, status, comments, a snapshot and the viewpoint in the model. Solibri, BIMcollab, Revit, Archicad and Tekla read and write it.
With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .bcf file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with BCF files
You see the list of issues with their status, author, date, comments and snapshots. If the IFC model is in the same package, clicking an issue shows the viewpoint in that model.
Good to know
Creating new issues or comments is not possible. From a viewpoint the viewer only takes the camera, not the visibility or colours of elements.
