Open DXF files — free, in your browser

DXF is AutoCAD's open drawing format for 2D drawings: floor plans, details, installation drawings. Almost every CAD program can read and write it.

With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .dxf file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with DXF files

You zoom and pan, turn layers on or off, view the sheets (layouts), measure with snapping to corners and intersections, search for text in the drawing and save it as PNG, SVG or PDF or print it.

Good to know

The viewer does not draw a 3D view in a viewport; whatever it cannot draw, it reports.

How it works

  1. Click Open your DXF file above.
  2. Drag your .dxf file into the window, or click to choose it.
  3. View it directly in your browser.
