Open a file
Open HEIC files (also .heif) — free, in your browser
HEIC (or HEIF) is the format in which an iPhone or iPad saves photos by default. It saves space, but Windows and many programs and websites do not open it without extra software.
With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .heic / .heif file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with HEIC files
You view the photo straight away, on Windows too. The iPhone colours (Display P3) are converted to sRGB, so the photo does not look washed out.
Good to know
If you want a file that opens everywhere, convert the photo to JPG.
How it works
- Click Open your HEIC file above.
- Drag your .heic file into the window, or click to choose it.
- View it directly in your browser.
