Open a file
Open IFC files — free, in your browser
IFC is the open exchange format for BIM building models. Revit, Archicad, Tekla and Allplan export it, so that the architect, structural engineer and MEP engineer can read each other's models without the same software.
With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .ifc file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with IFC files
You open the whole building model and click an element to see its properties. You filter by properties, hide parts, measure with snapping and make a section, without Revit or another BIM licence.
Good to know
The viewer does not edit the model; you make changes in your BIM software.
How it works
- Click Open your IFC file above.
- Drag your .ifc file into the window, or click to choose it.
- View it directly in your browser.
