What the viewer does with CATPART files
The viewer converts the part to STEP in your browser with cadmpeg, an open reader for CAD formats, and shows it in 3D: rotating, zooming, measuring with snapping and a section, without CATIA.
Good to know
You see the shape via an open reader, so there may be differences, and the CATIA reader is less proven than the one for SolidWorks and Inventor. The viewer does not open an assembly (.CATProduct). If it does not work, export as STEP.
