Open 3MF files — free, in your browser

3MF is the successor to STL for 3D printing, devised by Microsoft and the printer manufacturers among others. The file is a zip with the model, the unit and often colours and print settings; slicers such as PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio and Cura save their projects in it.

With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .3mf file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with 3MF files

You rotate, zoom and pan the model, hide parts, measure distances with snapping to corners and edges, and make a section.

Good to know

The viewer does not show the slicer's print settings; you see the model itself.
