Open DAE files — free, in your browser

DAE (COLLADA) is an open XML format for exchanging 3D models, for example from SketchUp or Google Earth.

With the free downloadlink viewer you open a .dae file directly in your browser. Nothing is installed, and without an account nothing is uploaded either — when you are logged in, the viewer keeps your file in My files.

What the viewer does with DAE files

You rotate, zoom and pan the model, hide parts, measure distances with snapping to corners and edges, and make a section.

Good to know

Editing is not possible in the viewer: you view and measure the model.

How it works

  1. Click Open your DAE file above.
  2. Drag your .dae file into the window, or click to choose it.
  3. View it directly in your browser.
